Since 1975 our slogan has never changed: “Quality and Service”.

Since then, we have always associated the values of a family-run business with those of production efficiency and research for innovation. For us, a handshake still has the same value as a written contract and each customer deserves our full attention.

We are one of the first companies in our sector to have obtained the UNI EN ISO 9002:1994 certification of quality (currently UNI EN ISO 9001:2008), which means we can guarantee the full traceability and re-traceability of each order we produce.

We are able to cater for all production sectors, including those in which legislation requires guarantees of higher quality, such as the foodstuff and pharmaceutical industries.

Our customers and suppliers are in good hands from every point of view: in 2015 we were awarded the “Cribis D&B Rating 1”, the highest recognition at international level for economic and financial reliability.

Our history

Our history began in 1975 and is largely the history of the Baldinotti family itself.

It all began with Renzo, who purchased the first machine, an Onda 150 die cutting machine with which he produced labels for the local shoe factories, in a small property in via Leopardi, Vinci.

The business grew when Renzo’s sons, Gerardo and Luciano, joined the company. They had already helped their father at a very young age and gradually acquired a more and more important role within the company.

Lamar expanded quickly, mainly because of its ability to adapt to the ever-changing market and make investments for improvement: the original core business of fabric labels was gradually replaced by the production of adhesive and non-adhesive labels.

In just ten years, Lamar underwent an exponential growth. It changed its premises twice and in 1990 was ready to become a limited liability company (s.r.l.).

The current premises were purchased in 2004 and cover an area of over 2,000 square metres in the industrial estate of Pieve a Ripoli (Cerreto Guidi, province of Florence).

Over time, the company became specialised in the production of self-adhesive and non-adhesive labels and was able to meet all its customers’ needs: from the simplest blank labels to the most complex labels, consisting of several pages.

This family-run company is still true to its origins: with the third generation already playing an active role, frequent investments in the production capacity to maintain the highest standards, and painstaking attention to its customer service.

These recurring aspects are summed up in our motto — “Quality and service” — which has remained constant throughout the years.
